Course Content

Strategic Management and Leadership in Education
The purpose of the module is to enable participants discuss the fundamentals of strategic management. They will also share experiences on strategic management in educational contexts. Participants will discuss essential leadership skills and develop strategic planning and implementation strategies. They will also examine best practices in educational leadership for shared experiences.

Resource Management and Optimization Skills
The purpose of the module is to enable participants to articulate budgeting basics and demonstrate financial planning and monitoring. Participants will demonstrate knowledge of human resource management and acquire knowledge and skills on educational resources and infrastructure utilization and optimization. They will apply technology to enable them to manage resources in educational settings.

Data-Driven Decision Making and Change Management
The purpose of the module is to enable participants to acquire skills and knowledge on data, its acquisition, management, analysis and interpretation, and use to aid them in efficient decision making as they are managing educational institutions. Using digital tools and platforms, participants will develop collaborative and networking skills to create shared knowledge and practices in the community of practice as educational leaders managing public or private institutions. They will develop knowledge of change management and implementation coupled with personal action plans for implementation beyond the workshop.
