  9. Gender Equality, Sustainable Development Goals and Rights at Work

    Gender Equality and international Labour Standards, Rights at Work This course will enable participants to discuss and analyse the development of knowledge and skills to promote international labour standards (ILS) and rights at work, to strengthen their application and to advance the achievement of equality and decent work for all women and men. Workplace gender equality is achieved when people are able to access and enjoy the same rewards, resources and opportunities regardless of gender.

    This course first defines and analysises financial literacy as personal financial education. Secondly, the course extends financial literacy to also include knowledge and understanding of bank and government behavior. Addresses the lack of capacity of individuals in managing their own finances. How to avoid personal levels of debt which as an individual you cannot repay. It is essential not to lay all responsibility for financials problems on individuals alone but also factor in the role of government and successive financial scandals and crisis at national, regional and global levels.
